MASSENA -- Paul C. Lambert, age 73, passed away on Sunday, November 24, 2024, at Massena Rehab and Nursing Center.
Per Paul’s wish’s there will be no public calling hours or funeral services.
Burial will be held at a later date in Calvary Cemetery.
Arrangements are under the care and guidance of the Phillips Memorial Home, Massena.
A graveside service will take place in Calvary Cemetery, Massena in the family plot, with full military honors in the spring.
Paul was born in Massena to Bernard and Mary (Conway) Lambert on September 22, 1951.
After high school graduation Paul entered the U.S. Army in 1971, where his duties included military police, he was honorably discharged in 1973.
He then started employment at Reynolds Metals in September of 1977 and retired as chief rectifier operator in 2005 after 28 years of service.
Paul is survived by a brother and sister, James R. of Massena; Margaret Lambert of Syracuse; nephews and a niece, John Paul and Elizabeth Lambert of San Diego, CA. Matthew Lambert of Sanford, FL; Jeffrey and Jenn of Plattsburgh, and Sara and David Gutierrez and their children of Baldwinsville, NY and many cousins.
He was predeceased by his parents; a brother, John and wife, Fran; and an Aunt, Margaret “Peggy” Burns.
He was a member of the Massena Elks Lodge No. 1702, the Tuesday Night Poker, Massena Country Club, where he enjoyed playing for the Senior Golf League, where he won senior club champion.
He was a member of the Massena Rod and Gun Club; and was an avid New York Yankee’s fan.
