To the Editor:
It is with great pleasure and enthusiasm that I write to announce my intention to seek re-election as Councilman for the Town of Louisville in the upcoming election.
First and foremost, I want to express my deepest gratitude for the trust and support you have bestowed upon me during my previous terms. Serving as a Louisville Board Member has been an incredible honor and privilege, allowing me to work closely with you, the community, and address the critical needs and concerns that we face together.
Over the past 12 years that I have served on this Board, I have remained committed to advancing the best interests for our Town. Together, we have achieved numerous milestones and made substantial progress. Our buildings have been made more energy efficient, improvements were made at the Arena, Kayak docks were installed at 2 locations, the iconic golf course was revived and is now thriving on its own, another restaurant has opened in our area and significant improvements were proposed for Whalen Park. Those improvements, if approved during the NYPA relicensing negotiations, could include amenities such as a splash pad, dog park and more playground and exercise equipment for children and adults. These improvements were all accomplished by working countless hours to obtain many grants which saved our taxpayers hundreds of thousands of dollars. In addition to that, our Town is sustaining 40 – 50 new jobs. Those are my main goals as Councilman for Louisville. Economic and Community developments that are sustainable for the future, that make our community stronger and more resilient.
However, there is still much work to be done. The challenges we face today, such as rising costs, labor shortages, infrastructure issues and the desire for more recreational opportunities require experienced leadership and a steadfast dedication to the betterment of our community. I firmly believe that by continuing to work together, we can overcome these obstacles and forge a brighter future for all.
I am truly grateful for your ongoing trust and support. Together, we can continue to create positive change and work towards a future that we can all be proud of. I humbly ask for your vote in the upcoming election, as we embark on this journey together again.
Thank you for your time, consideration, and most importantly, your unwavering support!
