MASSENA — One person was found deceased at Springs Park in Massena on Sunday, May 18.
According to Massena Village Police Chief Cody Wilson, the individual suffered a self-inflicted wound.
He also verified it was an isolated incident and there is no threat to the public.
The identity of the deceased has not been released as police have yet to notify the next of kin of the deceased, Wilson said.
The investigation is ongoing. North Country This Week will update this story as more details are released.
