OGDENSBURG -- McKenna Rafferty, a senior at Ogdensburg Free Academy, has been selected as the October BOCES Student of the Month. McKenna is enrolled in the Digital Media Design Program at Northwest Tech BOCES in Ogdensburg. 

McKenna was nominated by Mollie Ladouceur, Digital Media Design instructor at Northwest Tech, BOCES.

Ladouceur had this to say about her, “McKenna goes above and beyond in all her projects, showing a great deal of effort, skill, and creativity.  In addition to the Digital Media Design program, McKenna was elected to the secretary position of both the National Technical Honor Society and the SkillsUSA and is incredibly dedicated to making those organizations better while proving her skills in leadership.” 

McKenna plans on attending SUNY Oswego to major in Broadcasting and Mass Communications. 

To celebrate her accomplishments, McKenna received a Certificate of Achievement from BOCES and a plaque from the St. Lawrence County Chamber of Commerce, Ogdensburg Community Office.
