CANTON–Anthony LaRose II, 43, of Ogdensburg, was indicted by a St. Lawrence County Grand Jury on one count second-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, four counts third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, one count third-degree criminal possession of a weapon and one count second-degree criminally using drug paraphernalia, according to court documents released Oct. 3 by the office of District Attorney Gary M. Pasqua.

LaRose was arrested by Ogdensburg Police in March following a search warrant that reportedly yielded large quantities of multiple narcotics, including four ounces of cocaine.

Court documents state that LaRose has been accused of possessing cocaine, fentanyl, and methamphetamine with the intent to sell.

LaRose is also accused of possessing a switchblade knife.
