NORWOOD — Arts academy, crochet circle, free math tutoring , true crime book club, and storytime are being offered at Norwood Public Library in November.
Arts Academy with Kris Rozelle for kids ages 5 & up will meet Saturday, Nov. 9, at 12 p.m. to create custom inked ornaments. Kids can make a special gift and learn new artistic techniques. The program is sponsored by The Friends of Norwood Public Library. To register, call (315) 353-6692.
The True Crime Book Club meets Tuesday, Nov. 12, at 7 p.m. This month’s book is “The Pale-Faced Lie” by David Crow. Some book copies are available at the library for checkout.
Free math tutoring for all ages will be held on Thursdays from 2-5 p.m. with volunteer Carroll Boswell. Drop in with your math questions.
Crochet circle is back. Join volunteer Brittany Ashley on Nov. 16 at 11 a.m. All skill levels are welcome. Come with your craft materials and enjoy some great conversation.
Library Hoots Storytime meets on Fridays at 10:30 a.m. The early literacy program is designed to encourage reading readiness and a love of reading with stories, songs, crafts and fun. There will be no Storytime Nov. 8 and Nov. 22.
