Norwood Head Start visits Casella

Norwood Head Start Center and home-based children attended a field trip to Casella Waste Systems in Parishville.  The children learned about the importance of safety and recycling during a tour of the sorting facility.  They had the opportunity to meet Casella's mascot Dex the Raccoon and sit in the garbage truck and honk the horn.  .Head Start is a part of the St. Lawrence County Community Development Program.
