Norwood Brass Firemen concludes 79th season with annual banquet

The Norwood Brass Firemen concluded its 79th season with its annual banquet, held by a long time supporter, Terry LaFleur of Norwood. In recognition of his support with our floating concerts and support of the arts and his community, the band recognized him with a special notice of appreciation. 

Two band members, Steve LaMere and Donnie Jarvis were also recognized for their commitment to the band with commissioned artwork by local artist Catherine LaPoint-Vollmer. 

As the band prepares now for its 80th season 2025, it continues to work on raising funds for a new bus to ensure the band can continue its tradition of supporting the arts, and fire and rescue through music.
