Come spring, or this winter for those die-hard bicyclists, a new bike shelter is available for use behind the Canton Free Library on Park Street. Klaus Proemm, a former village trustee who sits on the village’s Complete Street Committee, said the concept took shape in 2022 when some funding was left in a Main Street Improvement Grant obtained through the Economic Development office. It was noted these funds could be used for Complete Streets purposes. See story here.
