NORFOLK— A traffic stop on state Highway 420 led to the arrest of two Massena residents on drug charges, State Police say.
According to State Police, Ryan J. O’Neill, 35, and Brittany P. Horton, 36, of Massena, were each charged Oct. 8 with four counts of seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance.
State Police report that both were charged following a traffic stop on state Highway 420 for an alleged vehicle and traffic law violation.
The troopers initiated a traffic stop and interviewed the driver, identified as Horton, and the passenger, identified as O'Neill.
A search of the vehicle led to the discovery of drug paraphernalia and narcotics.
Horton and O'Neill were each arrested and transported to the Massena State Police barracks for processing.
They were both released on appearance tickets, which require them to return to Norfolk Town Court at a later date in November.
