Facing the Present with Heart: a mindfulness meditation and sharing circle, will be offered at Trillium, Potsdam Presbyterian Church Community Center, Thursday, April 17 at 6 p.m. Facilitated by Jenna Joya Blondel, the group will practice meditation on the breath in the tradition of Thich Naht Hahn, to reduce stress and facilitate understanding and compassion, followed by mindful listening to hold space for each participant to share experiences, hopes, and fears. The intention of this gathering is to reduce stress and facilitate understanding and compassion as a way to meet the moment in these challenging times. There is no charge. Facing the Present with Heart will continue to meet monthly, on the third Thursday of the month, from 6 - 7 p.m. at Trillium, and at the Unitarian Universalist Church, 3 1/2 Mani Street, Canton, at 2 p.m. on the first Sunday of the month. Trillium is located at 42 1/2 Elm Street, in the Potsdam Presbyterian Church Community Center.
