CANTON – The Canton Rotary Club gathered on Friday, October 3rd, to honor longtime member Michael Crowe for his remarkable 50 years of service to the club. The celebration was a surprise event attended by family, friends, and fellow Rotarians.
In a touching tribute, members of Michael’s family flew in from out of town to join the occasion. The Canton Goldenaires performed several songs in his honor, and attendees shared fond memories from Michael’s distinguished career on the bench and his many contributions to Rotary and the Canton community.
Since joining in 1975, Mike has faithfully attended meetings and lived by the values Rotary continues to uphold today — Service Above Self, integrity, and fellowship. Over the years, he has played an active role in countless Rotary projects: participating in Highway Cleanup; installing Little Libraries; funding public skating; supporting beautification efforts; and participating in the Dairy Festival events.
Each endeavor reflects his steady commitment and dedication to making Canton a stronger and more welcoming community.
The Canton Rotary Club expresses its heartfelt gratitude to Mike for his leadership and friendship over the past five decades.
