LISBON -- Graveside Services for Meredith A. Roy, age 89 of Lisbon, will be held at 1:00 p.m. on May 16, 2025, at White Church Cemetery. Mrs. Roy passed away on Wednesday evening, April 9, 2025, at St. Joseph’s Home in Ogdensburg, NY.
She is survived by her children, Randy Roy of Willington, NC, Melanie (Marvin) Richardson of Noblesville, IN, Robert Roy of Lisbon, NY, Carla (William) Stucklen of Mt. Sinai, NY, and Cindy (Daniel) Kahle of Noblesville, IN. Meredith is also survived by her sister, Judy (Allan) Premo of Ogdensburg; her grandchildren, Sydney Roy, Brittany and Cassandra Stucklen, Emily (Adam) Bauer, Ryan (Shannon) Richardson, and Reed (Elizabeth) Richardson; as well as her great-grandchildren, Ella and Ava Bauer, Lincoln, Coen, Tucker, and Lainey Richardson. Additionally, she is survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She was predeceased by her husband, Carroll, who passed away on March 16, 2025; her sons, Michael and Kevin Roy; two brothers, Joseph & Robert Pearson; and a sister, Eunice D’Amore.
Meredith was born on March 15, 1936, in Ogdensburg, NY, to Joseph & Johanna (Breen) Pearson. She graduated from Ogdensburg Free Academy and continued her education at Roethel’s Business School. On August 21, 1954, she married Carroll F. Roy.
Throughout her career, Meredith worked at various grocery stores, American Greeting Cards, and co-operated C & M Antiques with her husband. She was passionate about playing cards, bingo, gardening, and collecting antiques.
