PARISHVILLE -- The Concerned Citizens for Rural Preservation has announced several meetings in coming weeks regarding the proposed industrial wind turbine project.
A public slide show presentation on the Hoosac Wind Farm in Clarksburg, Mass., will be given by photographer Larry Lorusso Sunday, Feb. 12, at 6:30 p.m. at the Parishville town hall.
There will be a Hopkinton town board meeting Monday, Feb. 13 at 7 p.m. at the town office building. A Parishville-Hopkinton school board meeting follows at 7:30 p.m.
The Hopkinton Wind Advisory Board meeting is scheduled for Thursday, Feb. 16, at 7 p.m. at Hopkinton town hall. Discussion will involve expansion of the wind turbine zone, south of Route 72 to possibly include Santamont and Beebe roads, reports the CCRP.
A public comment meeting regarding the Industrial North Ridge Wind Project will be held by the Hopkinton Wind Advisory Board Monday, March 6 at 7 p.m. at Hopkinton town hall.
Iberdrola (Avangrid) will host a public informational meeting at the Hopkinton town hall Tuesday, March 7, from 2-4 p.m. and from 6-8 p.m.
