MASSENA -- Massena Police have issued a level 3 sex offender notification for the public.
According to a post by police, William F. Gilmore, 56, is currently residing at 556 South Main Street in the village.
He has a risk level of three with a sexually violent designation, is white and stands at 5'9" and weighs 270 pounds.
He has gray hair and blue eyes.

"This Sex Offender Information notification is being given to you as an 'entity with vulnerable population' as defined by the New York State Corrections Law," the post reads.
"This information MAY NOT be used for any unlawful purpose. Sex offender information is based upon compiled records of convicted sex offenders and should not be considered to be a complete compilation of sex offenders who may be present in the community. Anyone who uses this information to injure, harass, or commit a criminal act against any person may be subject to criminal prosecution," the notice said.
