OGDENSBURG -- Santa Claus has dropped off his special mailbox in front of Ogdensburg City Hall for children to send their letters with their Christmas wishes.

"Christmas is almost here, and I couldn't be more excited! It's my favorite time of year, and I can't wait to spread some holiday cheer. This year, the North Pole is as busy as ever, but I always make time to visit all the wonderful children in Ogdensburg," Mr. Claus said.

Mr. Claus said his trusty elves will keep a close eye on the mailbox to the North Pole before they load up his sleigh and embark on his annual worldwide journey.

He encouraged all children to "grab your pens and paper and let your imaginations run wild!"

"Write me a letter with all your Christmas wishes. Remember to include your return address so I can send you a special reply," Mr. Claus said.

Children are encouraged to drop off their letters before noon on Sunday, Dec. 15 to ensure they arrive before Christmas Day.

"Mrs. Claus and I can't wait to hear from you all. Remember to be kind to others and spread joy wherever you go!" Mr. Claus said.
