Lyle F. Fuller, 83, Gouverneur

GOUVERNEUR- Lyle F. Fuller, age 83, of Gouverneur, NY passed away peacefully with his family by his side on Monday, March 10, 2025. He is predeceased by his loving wife of 52 years, Charlotte (Randall) Fuller.

Lyle was born on February 8, 1942 in Gouverneur to the late John and Ruth (Stevens) Fuller. He attended Gouverneur High School. On December 30, 1961, he married Charlotte Randall. The couple lived and farmed on the Doane Road. Charlotte passed away on February 25, 2014.

Lyle was a jack of all trades. He worked at Dodge Motors, Agway Fuel and Furnace repair, he drove tractor trailer, he worked for Nutrina, Farley Equipment and Riverside Iron Works. He joked that he held the keys to every business in town. He also ran the family farm and built a new house for his family. He refurbished a church into an apartment building; he built his own cabinets and truly enjoyed wood working. He made cabinets, rocking chairs and hobby horses for his family to enjoy. Lyle also trained horses and showed them at the county fair.

Surviving are his five children, Lyle G. and Mary Fuller, Larry and Kim Fuller, Sherry and Chris Kramer, Tim Fuller and Shawn and Tabitha Fuller; ten grandchildren, Jessica Lynde, Brooke June, Darren and Ashley Fuller, Greg and Shane Kramer, Megan Fuller, Chelsea Bromley, Nicole Slate and Curtis Fuller; 23 great grandchildren; six siblings and their spouses, Phyllis Tripp, Ralph and Kathy Fuller, Donald “Bim” and Christine Fuller, John and Kathie Fuller, Janice and Rodger Refici and Glenda Bickford; a sister-in-law, Sally Fuller and brother-in-law, Claude and several nieces and nephews.

Lyle is predeceased by his wife Charlotte; his parents, John and Ruth (Stevens) Fuller; two brothers, Vernon Fuller Sr. and Lyndon Fuller; and a sister, Charlotte Livington.

In keeping with his wishes, there will be no calling hours or funeral service.
Please join the family for a celebration of life gathering for Lyle and Charlotte on Saturday, March 29 th at 3:00 p.m. at Mullin’s Restaurant.
