CANTON -- Join the St. Lawrence County Center for History and Culture, 3 E Main St., for Canton Winterfest.
To celebrate, the St. Lawrence County Center for History & Culture is hosting Love Your Local Museum Week and will be open to the public without an appointment on Friday, Feb. 7; Saturday, Feb. 8; and Tuesday, Feb. 11-Saturday, Feb. 15, from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. The museum will still be closed on Sundays and Mondays.
Visitors are welcome to tour the museum, visit the gift shop, and participate in our Valentine's Day Card-making Station.
At the card-making station, you can make traditional Victorian valentines, vinegar valentines, or more modern valentines for friends and family. It will be set up throughout Canton Winterfest, so you may stop in at any time during our open hours to participate. No appointments are necessary.
Additionally, anyone who visits during Canton Winterfest will receive 10% off in our gift shop. If you're already a member, you may stack your discounts together.
Don't forget to pick up your Canton Winterfest Buttons during the event. Buttons are $3 each or 2 for $5. Wear your button to show off your Canton pride and earn an entry to win raffle prizes. By wearing your button during Winterfest, you'll also receive exclusive deals at participating businesses around Canton.
