CANTON – The Unitarian Universalist Church of Canton is partnering with the Cerebral Palsy Association of the North Country, Sunday, Jan. 26, at 10:30 a.m. to offer, "Kids on the Block" and "Making Friends" presentations to kindergarten through 3rd/4th graders to help children learn to understand and accept people with developmental disabilities.
The presentation will include puppets and "helping tools" such as wheelchairs, crutches, a white cane, and a guide dog.
The age-appropriate content captures the attention of young people with a clear message, "We are all alike!"
