Jeanne M. Deshaies, 95, Massena

MASSENA -- Jeanne M. Deshaies, age 95, passed away on Friday, December 29, 2023 at Harbor Care in Lewes, DE surrounded by her loving family. Arrangements are under the care and direction of the Phillips Memorial Home, 64 Andrews St. Massena. A Mass of Christian Burial for Jeanne will be held Monday, August 5, 2024 at 10:00 am, at the Church of the Sacred Heart with Garry B. Giroux officiating. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Massena.
Jeanne was born on April 13, 1928 in Cornwall, Ontario the daughter of Armand and Delores (Richer) Bissonnette. After she graduated from Cornwall High School she attended Business School in Cornwall. She married John L. Deshaies on December 26, 1949. Mr. Deshaies predeceased her on October 4, 2003. Jeanne was employed at Marine Midland Bank for 15 years as a teller.
She is survived by a son Michael and wife Martha of Milford, DE. Two grandsons: John Paul Deshaies of Burlington, VT; Michael Shelly of Santa Rosa Beach, FL. She was predeceased by a son Paul A. in 2022, a brother Leo Bissonnette, and two sisters; Yvette Leroux and Aline Pulvino.
