Humid and hot with a chance of rain is the forecast, yet again, for St. Lawrence County.
There will be an increase in the chance for scattered showers, thunderstorms, and heavy rain today across the St. Lawrence Valley, according to the National Weather Service (NWS).
Then, our attention turns to an increasing potential for heavy rain and flash flooding tomorrow night into Thursday associated with the remnants of Tropical Cyclone Beryl, the service says.
Highs today will be around 87 with humid conditions likely, the service stays. Chances of rain increase around 2-3 p.m. Forecasters predict an overnight low around 67.
Highs Wednesday will be around 76 with a 100% chance of rain, NWS says.
The extended forecast through next Monday is as follows:
Wednesday
Showers, with thunderstorms also possible after 2pm. High near 76. Calm wind becoming northeast 5 to 8 mph in the afternoon. Chance of precipitation is 100%. New rainfall amounts between a half and three quarters of an inch possible.
Wednesday Night
Showers and possibly a thunderstorm before 11pm, then showers likely. Low around 66. Northeast wind 6 to 8 mph. Chance of precipitation is 90%. New precipitation amounts between 1 and 2 inches possible.
Thursday
Showers likely, mainly before 2pm. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 80. Southwest wind around 7 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60%. New precipitation amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch possible.

A 30 percent chance of showers before 2am. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 66. Southwest wind 5 to 7 mph. New precipitation amounts of less than a tenth of an inch possible.
