PARISHVILLE -- A Hopkinton man was charged with aggravated driving while intoxicated after allegedly fleeing the scene of a property-damage accident, according to St. Lawrence County sheriff's deputies.
Paul Merrill, 45, was charged with aggravated DWI, failure to keep right and leaving the scene of a property-damage accident, deputies said.
The accident took place on Allens Falls Road on Feb. 7, officers said.
Merrill reportedly has a blood-alcohol content (BAC) of .20%.
He was cited and released, officers said.
