POTSDAM — Approximately $9,000 was raised for local charities at the 27th Annual Hobble Gobble Prediction Walk/Run this year.
There were 230 registered at the event held November 16 at The Stables at Windy Point.
Proceeds will benefit the Potsdam Holiday Fund, Helping Hands of Hannawa, Heuvelton Giving Tree, and local Neighborhood Centers, said organizer Jacqueline Bill.
The winners of the best predicted course times vs. actual times in the short course were Matt Smithers, Jenny Bradish, John Beaudette, Coreen Bohl, James Deon, Alice Trithart, Natasha Hill, Jenifer Backus and Jason Phippen.
Winners of the best predicted times for the long course were Alena Bicknell, Amy Hollister, Erin Taylor and Kim Potvin.
