Higley Snow Groomers recognized at appreciation night

The Volunteer Snow Groomers of Higley Flow State Park recently gathered to celebrate a successful season and growth in the volunteer snow grooming program. Considered by many to have been an “old-fashioned” winter, grooming began this season on Dec. 4, the earliest in at least three years, and continued almost every day nonstop from the last week of December through March 18.  During 2024, the team was only able to groom for three weeks due to the lack of snow.
