DEKALB JUNCTION – Hermon-DeKalb Central School recognizes students graduating with distinction.
Avaleigh Besaw, daughter of Kyle and Julie Besaw of DeKalb Junction, is graduating with an overall average of 95.95% and will receive a Regents Diploma with Advanced Designation with Honors, and an annotation that denotes Mastery in Mathematics. After graduation, Avaleigh will pursue a degree in Environmental Sciences at Hobart and William Smith Colleges.
Gavin Walrath, son of Gregory and Raquel Walrath of Hermon, is graduating with an overall average of 94.87% and will receive a Regents Diploma with Advanced Designation. Gavin plans to enter the workforce after graduation.
Rhealyn Jones, daughter of Scott Jones and Jennifer Warren of Hermon, is graduating with an overall grade point average of 94.83% and will receive a Regents Diploma. Rhealyn plans to enter the workforce after graduation.
Paul French, son of David and Tami French of DeKalb Junction, is graduating with an overall grade point average of 93.31% and will receive a Regents Diploma. Paul will attend SUNY Plattsburgh and pursue a Doctorate in History.
Hailey Brabaw, daughter of Matthew and Jessica Brabaw of DeKalb Junction, is graduating with an overall grade point average of 92.63% and will receive a Regents Diploma with Advanced Designation. She plans to attend SUNY Canton and pursue a degree in Nursing.
Hannah Brabaw, daughter of Matthew and Jessica Brabaw of DeKalb Junction, is graduating with an overall grade point average of 92.08% and will receive a Regents Diploma with Advanced Designation. She plans to attend SUNY Canton and pursue a degree in Liberal Arts, then transfer to SUNY Upstate to further her education to be a diagnostic medical sonographer.
Amaya Stransky, daughter of Christopher and Rebecca Stransky of Hermon, is graduating with an overall grade point average of 91.39% and will receive a Regents Diploma with Advanced Designation. She plans to attend SUNY Canton and pursue a degree in Criminal Justice.
Avery Dion, daughter of Benjamin Dion of Hermon, is graduating with an overall grade point average of 90.91% and will receive a Regents Diploma. She plans to attend The Culinary Institute of America.
Olivia Drake, daughter of Ernest and Sheri Drake of DeKalb Junction, is graduating with an overall grade point average of 90.21 % and will receive a Regents Diploma with Advanced Designation. She plans to attend SUNY Plattsburgh.
