POTSDAM — The Orchestra of Northern New York’s holiday concert is presenting an opportunity to remember lost loved ones or honor family and friends.

Sponsor a poinsettia, a traditional holiday flower, in memory of or in honor of someone.

Poinsettias will be used to decorate the stages in Hosmer Hall at SUNY Potsdam and the First Presbyterian Church sanctuary in Watertown.

Following the concert, patrons who purchase poinsettias may pick up their plants and take them home for holidays.

Poinsettias are on sale for $20 a plant. Each poinsettia comes in a 6" foil-wrapped pot and has a plastic sleeve for transport.

Orders must be placed online or by phone by Friday December 6.
