CANTON -- A Harrisville man has been charged following an Order of Protection violation.
According to the St. Lawrence County Sheriff's Office, Joseph R. Clement, 32, was charged with criminal contempt in the second degree (A Misdemeanor) following a report of an Order of Protection Violation at the St. Lawrence County Correctional Facility.
Deputies say Clement was contacting a protected party over the phone while incarcerated in the St. Lawrence County Correctional Facility.
He was arraigned on Nov. 25 in front of Judge Morgan and returned to SLCCF.
