Joshua R. Hartle, 32, reportedly failed to negotiate a curve and exited the roadway striking trees and came to a rest, officers said.
While interviewing Hartle, he was showing signs of impairment, officers said.

Hartle was transported to Gouverneur Hospital, but later released due to no injuries.
He was charged with first-degree operating a motor vehicle impaired by drugs, second-degree criminal possession of a weapon, second-degree criminal use of drug paraphernalia, and vehicle and traffic law violations.
