GOUVERNEUR— A Gouverneur woman who allegedly said she would kill a village police officer with a knife was arrested April 30, Gouverneur Police say.
Kimberly N. Wisner, 36, of Gouverneur, was charged Wednesday, April 30 with one count each of disorderly conduct, second-degree menacing, and resisting arrest.
Village police report that Wisner was charged after she allegedly made threats against a Gouverneur village police officer who was assisting Child Protective Services on a call on Main Street.
Wisner is also reported to have pulled away from the officer while being taken into custody, resulting in the resisting charge.
Wisner was transported to the Gouverneur Police Station for processing and was released with an appearance ticket returnable to Gouverneur Town Court at a later date.
