MASSENA -- A staple of Massena's culinary scene is closing its doors after more than six years in operation.
Eyland's Restaurant, located at 10 West Orvis Street, will close for good after the April 12 dinner service.
The news comes from a Facebook post on April 6.
"After many long talks, valiant efforts, and many more long talks, we are announcing that Eyland's will be closing at the end of this week. Our last day of dinner service will be Saturday, April 12, 2025," they wrote.
The post went on to thank patrons, staff and suppliers alike for their support.
"We want to thank so many people. Our amazing staff, both past and present, our suppliers, our families, and of course the many wonderful guests who became friends over the last six years," they wrote.
Final services will be Thursday, Friday and Saturday this week.
"We hope as many of you as possible will come down this Thursday, Friday and Saturday to say goodbye, share a memory, and of course enjoy a delicious meal prepared and served by our amazing staff," they wrote.
"Thank you everyone. It's been a blast."
