MASSENA- Doris P. Robinson, 90, of 50 Douglas Road, passed away on Sunday, December 1, 2024 at the Canton-Potsdam Hospital.
Doris was born on February 8, 1934 in Massena, daughter of the late George Frederick and Eva (Goldstone) Robinson. She was a graduate of Massena Central School.
She was a member of Adath Israel Synagogue in Massena and attended Congregation Beth El in Potsdam. She worked at ALCOA, starting in the mailroom and retired as an administrative secretary. Doris belonged to ALCOA’s 25 Year Club and liked to socialize with others where she always brought a keen knowledge of local history. She had a loving heart and enjoyed caring for others, driving countless miles helping others make their appointments and events.
Doris was predeceased by her parents George and Eva Robinson, and two brothers Harry and Robert Robinson.
A Funeral service will be held Thursday, at 11 AM at the Donaldson Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Adath Israel Cemetery, Massena.
Donations may be made in Doris’ memory to Congregation Beth El, 81 Market St., Potsdam, NY.
