Discussion series begins

POTSDAM -- The North Country Poor People’s Campaign and Stand Up 4 Our Town will host a discussion series, “If We Knew Our History,” exploring People’s history and suppressed stories of events with significant contributions to our democracy and identity. Meetings are every 2nd and 4th Wednesday of the month, 7-8:30 p.m. at the Potsdam Town Hall, 18 Elm St. The series begins Wednesday, Feb. 12, with a discussion titled: Is the United States a Democracy? All are welcome. Organizers hope to engage in respectful conversation, explore all viewpoints, learn together, and strengthen our community as we move forward together.
