Charlotte I. (Daniels) Foote, 81, Canton

CANTON -- Charlotte I. (Daniels) Foote, 81, of Canton died peacefully on Tuesday, November 5, 2024, at the Canton-Potsdam Hospital where she had been a patient for some time.

Charlotte was born October 18, 1943, in Canton, a daughter of the late Brayton and Mary (James) Daniels.

She attended Canton Schools. On July 30, 1959, Charlotte was married to Edward Foote. Ed predeceased her on April 25, 2018.

In her younger years, Charlotte did home health care and worked the family farm before transitioning to her most beloved job of mother and grandmother.

Charlotte enjoyed raising her family and being an integral part of the lives of her grand and great-grandchildren.

In her youth she enjoyed fishing and following the death of her beloved Ed, she began traveling with family.

Charlotte is survived by six children, Brayton (Millie) Foote of Canton, Edward (Lorna) Foote of Lisbon, Dale (Julie) Foote of Canton, Sarah Zeller (Ron LaFave) of North Carolina, Susan Foote (Ben Clary) of Canton and Ann Cameron (Todd Gilbert) of Pierrepont; 12 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, one great-great grandchild, three step-grandchildren and 9 step-greatgrandchildren and nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband Edward and her parents, Brayton and Mary, Charlotte was predeceased by a great-granddaughter, Vanessa Rose, sister, Betty Murdock and brother, Raymond Daniels and Brayton in infancy.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, November 22, 2024, at 1:00 pm at the Fairview Cemetery, Canton, with Pastor Brad Ingram officiating.
