MASSENA – Beverley E. Brown, 85, passed away Saturday afternoon, April 26, 2025 at North Country Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
Beverley was born on March 1, 1940 in Cornwall, Ontario the daughter of the late Dennis and Irene (Pelkey) Tessier. She was raised in Cornwall, where she attended school. She married Stafford J. Brown in Massena, they were blessed with 6 children. He predeceased her in July 1997.
Beverley worked in the housekeeping department at the Highland Nursing Home for over 40 years. She cherished her time there along with her relationship with the Kaneb Family. She loved her work and enjoyed crocheting and playing cards.
Beverley is survived by her children and their spouses, Stafford Jr. (Patricia) Brown of Massena, Shelley Brown of Alberta, Canada, Jimmy (Becky) of Ocala, Florida, Shannon (Paul) Mason of Georgia, and Jamie (Kim) Brown of Massena; 10 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, and 2 great great grandchildren; her sisters, Sandra Miller and Joan Patnode of Cornwall; her brother, Kelly Tessier of Toronto; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and her husband, she was predeceased by a son, Jason Brown in December 1994; and her brothers, George and Gordon Tessier.
Arrangements are under the care and guidance of the Donaldson Funeral Home, Massena, however there will be no services. Burial will be held privately in Calvary Cemetery, Massena.
Memorial contributions may be made in her memory to the North Country Nursing and Rehabilitation Center Activities Department.
