Assault, larceny, littering, open container, disorderly conduct charges keep Potsdam police busy

POTSDAM — A Potsdam man was charged with harassment and disorderly conduct Sept. 29, according to village police.

Christopher Ramos, 40, was charged with second-degree harassment and disorderly conduct on Swan Street at 9:30 a.m., police said.

He was arraigned in Potsdam court, police said.

POTSDAM — A Gouverneur man was charged after village police allegedly observed a subject attempting to fight a group of people.

Police said they charged 18-year old Chancler C. Manson with disorderly conduct at 1:27 a.m. on Market Street.

He allegedly shoved one person and attempted to fight several others, officers said.

He was cited and released, police said.

POTSDAM — A woman was cited for open container on Cedar Street Sept. 29, according to village police.

Molly R. Dicaprio, 21, was charged with open container at 12:52 p.m. and released on an appearance ticket, police said.

POTSDAM —A man was cited for littering on Main Street Sept. 28, according to village police.

Alexander W. Farden-Griggs, 20, was cited for littering at 9:16 p.m. and released on an appearance ticket, police said.

POTSDAM — A Niagara Falls resident was cited for larceny at Stewart’s Shop in Maple Street Sept. 28, according to village police.

Joshua T. Gleason, 20, was cited for petit larceny and unauthorized use of a license at 2:16 a.m., officers said.

He was allegedly in possession of a fake ID.

Police said he was cited and released.

POTSDAM — A Brushton man was charged with assault at a local business earlier this summer, according to village police.

Kaleb L. Parker, 25, was charged with third-degree assault stemming from an Aug. 22 altercation at a local business, police said.

He was cited and released, officers said.

An order of protection was issued in favor of the victim, police said.
