BRASHER FALLS - The Badenhausen Public Library, 897 Main St., will host an art show honoring the memory of Dorothy (Dottie) Goodrich and her contributions to the arts. Dottie, an accomplished painter, was known for her finely detailed renditions of historic places in the Brasher Falls area. Several of her paintings, as well as art from other local residents, will be on display in Crasper Hall above the library.
The show will open Saturday, July 13, at 3 p.m. A “Meet the Artists” reception will begin at 6 p.m.
“We hope the community will turn out to enjoy the show and meet many of the talented people who live in our area.” said Donna Kuhn, the event organizer.
The show will be open for viewing during regular library hours on Monday, July 15 (9 a.m.-1 p.m.), Tuesday, July 16, (10 a.m.-2 p.m.) and Wednesday, July 17 (11 a.m.-6 p.m.). Admission to the opening reception and the art show is free of charge.
