OGDENSBURG — “Art in Conversation” will be held monthly at Frederic Remington Art Museum with Educator Julie Pratt and Docent Anne Skelly.
The hour discussion will be about themes and topics, exploring their connection to the featured artworks.
In February, the theme explores Remington's connections with his contemporaries. What other artists were active during his time? If you stepped into a gallery at the turn of the century, which artists would you find displayed alongside Remington's work?
This program is an on-site/virtual hybrid; participants can join remotely via Zoom or in person at the museum.
During this winter season there will be two sessions offered per month:
Second Saturday of every month, from noon - 1 p.m. and third Thursday of every month, from noon - 1 p.m.
There will only be one session in February, on Feb. 8.
Art in Conversation is free with museum admission. Museum members get free admission.
