POTSDAM – Pickleball and pizza are on tap for the Always Caring Mixed-Doubles Pickleball Tournament in Potsdam, Saturday, June 14.
The event is hosted by the North Country Pickleball Group and will take place at Sandstoner Park.
Proceeds from this year’s tournament, will benefit United Helpers.
The event will include four divisions to accommodate different levels of play.
Registration for the mixed-doubles tournament is $40 for the first division that includes a t-shirt and $20 for an additional division.
Food trucks from Italian Affair and Rosie’s Hawg Dogs will be on site, as well as a bake sale with a variety of cookies, muffins, pies and more. There will also be a basket drawing with more than 40 gift baskets and other prizes to award.
Events will begin at 8 a.m. at the Pine Street Arena in Potsdam and last late into the afternoon with music playing all day long. There will also be free balloons and teddy bears for the kids, so come on out and enjoy this fun, family event!
