WADDINGTON — The 10th Mountain Division Brass and Woodwind Quintets are set to perform Sunday, June 22, at 2 p.m. at the Waddington Cultural Center, 129 Lincoln Ave., as part of the 2025 Harmony & History Concert Series.
Sponsored by the Waddington Historical Association, the event is free and open to the public. Donations will be accepted to support future concerts in the series.
Concertgoers can expect a wide range of music, from patriotic standards to contemporary pop covers. Each quintet will perform individually before combining into a small concert band for a joint performance.
The Harmony & History Concert Series is presented each spring and fall and is designed to highlight Waddington’s historic venues. The Cultural Center, formerly St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, dates back to 1818 and is known for its exceptional acoustics.
Each year, the concert series is dedicated to honoring individuals who have made lasting contributions to the community. This year’s concert is in memory of June McQueeney, Joan Loomis, and Elizabeth Phillips for their efforts in shaping Waddington’s rich local history.
