Mr. Wallace Hill, 85, former owner of Pancake Haven and Hills Motel, passed away early Sunday morning, September 02, 2012 at Bishop's Glen Nursing Facility, Holly Hill Florida, where he had been a patient since January.

Wally, as people knew him was born into a family of twelve on September 25, 1926 in Starkesboro VT, the son of the late Morton Drew and Ethel. He attended Starkesboro schools. He proudly served his country in the US Army. He survived two wives both Helen and Geraldine.

Wally loved a good day's work! He was an honest and fair man both in business and in life. He would lend a helping hand to anyone in need. He comes from a simpler time in life that revolved around family and self sufficiency. His welcome smile and sense of humor will be missed.

He is survived by his children, Harry, Helene, Michael and Richard; his step children, Teresa Jesmer and Charles Carver; his grandchildren, Cheryl Carver, Morgan Jesmer, and Dylan Hill; and one great grandchild Sheila Carver.

You can join his family for graveside services at Pleasant View Cemetery on Bonnie View Rd in Wilmington, NY 12997 on October 6th, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. All that knew him are welcome!
