HOPKINTON -- Kenneth C. Davis, 83, of County Route 56, peacefully passed away Tuesday evening, November 5, 2019 at Canton-Potsdam Hospital with his loving family by his side.
Kenny was born April 19, 1936 in Potsdam, the son of Parishville residents, Rhodes and Doris (Taylor) Davis. He was raised in Parishville and attended schools there. On August 12, 1955, he married Marion Farns at Holy Cross Church in Hopkinton.
Kenny owned and operated a farm in Madrid for 30 years. He loved to hunt, work with draft horses, and in his younger years riding his motorcycle and snowmobiling. He was loved by many and will be deeply missed.
Kenny is survived by his loving wife of 64 years, Marion; his son and daughter-in-law, Rhodes and Darlene Davis of Hammond; his daughter and son-in-law, Candace and Richard Olmstead of Potsdam; three grandchildren and their spouses, Mandy and Craig Simmons of Stockholm, Jason and Kim Olmstead of Massachusetts, and Jeremy and Whitney Davis of Brasher Center; and three great grandchildren, Levi and Connor Simmons and Hayden Davis. He is also survived by his sister, Jean McEwen of Potsdam; his brother and sister-in-law, Jerry and Roancy Davis of Parishville; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a granddaughter, Katlyn Olmstead; and a brother, Thomas Davis.
