WEST POTSDAM – Alice R. Dibble, 42, of County Route 34, unexpectedly passed away Monday morning, September 16, 2019 at Canton-Potsdam Hospital.
Alice was born August 5, 1977 in Potsdam, the daughter of the late Leonard and Geraldine (Cyrus) Rutley. She attended school Norwood-Norfolk and Lisbon Central Schools. On August 21, 1994, she married Jerry A. Dibble, Jr in Stockholm with Justice Wayne Williams, officiating.
Alice worked for Hazen Enterprises for the past 16 years as a cleaner and had recently started cleaning at the St. Lawrence County Fire Training Center. She enjoyed camping, had a great love for animals, and eating ice cream watching America’s Got Talent. She also cherished the time she spent with her children, family and friends.
She is survived by her husband, Jerry; her sons, Dustin and Austin, both of West Potsdam; her sisters, Arlie Jean and Jerry Powers of Russell; Amy Empey of West Potsdam; Carla and Dan Stockwell of Potsdam; her brothers, Harvey Rutley of West Potsdam; Craig Rutley of Canton; and Harold and Tammy Rutley of Rennselaer Falls; her mother-in-law, Vickie French of Potsdam; her sister-in-law, Tara and Todd Planty; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Friends may call Thursday 2-4 and 7-9:00 p.m. at the Donaldson-Seymour Funeral Home, Potsdam where funeral services will be held Friday, 10:00 a.m. with burial to follow in Riverside Cemetery, Norwood.
