A winter storm watch has been issue for St. Lawrence with a possible 6-15 inches of snow possible, especially in higher elevations, according to the National Weather Service (NWS).
Wet, heavy snow is possible, with areas in the watch seeing 6 to 15 inches and isolated higher amounts in the higher elevations, NWS says.
Forecasters say winds could gust as high as 35-40 miles per hour.
Travel could be very difficult to hazardous and may impact the evening commute on Friday. Strong and gusty winds Friday night could lead to scattered tree damage and isolated power outages, the service said.
There is a 30 percent change of rain before noon with cloudy skies and a high near 46 degrees, according to NWS. There is a 100 percent change of rain tonight with an overnight low of 35.
Rain and snow will begin Friday and transition into just snow by Friday night. The storm should end by Saturday evening.
The forecast through the middle of next week is as follows:
Friday
Rain and snow. High near 36. Calm wind becoming northwest 5 to 9 mph in the morning. Chance of precipitation is 100%. New snow accumulation of less than a half inch possible.
Friday Night
Snow. Low around 20. Northwest wind 10 to 17 mph, with gusts as high as 29 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100%. New snow accumulation of 5 to 9 inches possible.
Saturday
Snow likely before 9am, then a chance of snow showers between 9am and 2pm. Cloudy through mid morning, then gradual clearing, with a high near 32. West wind around 15 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60%. New snow accumulation of 1 to 3 inches possible.

Mostly clear, with a low around 22. Southwest wind 7 to 10 mph.
Sunday
Sunny, with a high near 43. West wind around 10 mph, with gusts as high as 22 mph.

A chance of rain and snow showers before 9pm, then a chance of snow showers. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 22. West wind around 7 mph becoming north after midnight. Chance of precipitation is 50%.
