Two new web pages are helping St. Lawrence County residents order take-out from local restaurants.

Gov. Andrew Cuomo Monday ordered restaurants and bars to close on-site dining.

North Country Now has posted a page featuring ads from area restaurants providing take-out and delivery at at NorthCountryNow.com/takeout .

The St. Lawrence County Chamber of Commerce has launched a web page at www.VisitSTLC.com/take-out to provide quick links to area restaurant menu websites.

"Our staff have been working … to create tangible action items to help our area businesses during this difficult time," said Brooke Rouse, SLC Chamber executive director.

Community members are being encouraged to purchase takeout and order delivery to help restaurants continue operating during this time.

"Our restaurants provide employment, support our community fundraisers, sports teams and activities year round. It is important to find a way to support all local businesses at this time, and this is one way to do it, while feeding your family and friends".

Restaurants wishing to be added to the pages can email ThisWeek@NorthCountryNow.com or call 315-265-1000 to be added to the North Country Now page.

To be added to the chamber page, email Jonnie@SLCchamber.org with a link to their menu, phone number and availability of delivery and take-out.

The St. Lawrence County Chamber is also offering a 'Call-In' for businesses on Wednesday, March 18 at 10 a.m.

Registration can be found at www.SLCchamber.org.

The 'Call-in' will include information from the St. Lawrence County Chamber, the SUNY Canton SBDC and Northern Insuring Agency.

A brief overview of the resources available will be presented, as well as ideas for promoting and delivering business, and what employers need to know to best manage employees.
