WADDINGTON -- The Gallery Lake Saint Lawrence Arts, 10 Main St., provides a venue for artists to exhibit and sell their work.

Below are four options for artists to become involved at the gallery:

• Artisan Core Member – Become a core member of a juried gallery in Waddington. For $75 per month core members can exhibit and sell their art in a gallery setting, exhibit in a one-person show in a separate gallery, present classes in a designated classroom and participate in a dynamic artist community. All sales of items will be 30% commission to The Gallery.

• Artisan Show – As an artist, schedule a show in the middle gallery. The cost is $75 for a 6-week period. The Gallery will help hang and promote your show through advertising in local newspapers and mailing lists. The Gallery will also put on a reception for the opening of the show. All sales of items will be a 30% commission to The Gallery.

• Instructor – Become an instructor at The Gallery. Present classes in the Gallery classroom. The Gallery will advertise the class and help set up if needed. Contact Tanya Spicer and/or Bonnie Grant to discuss the class idea and provide samples of work. The fee for classes and lectures will be a 30% commission to The Gallery.

• Monthly Artisan – Artists are invited to rent a 4-foot display space at The Gallery to exhibit and sell their work. The fee is $75 per month for every month the space is used. The artist has an option of presenting classes and shows during the rental period. The sale of items and classes will be 30% commission to The Gallery. The 4-foot display space will be determined between the artist and The Gallery.
