Video game and cosplay stars appear at Upstate Comic Con in Massena

Vienna Ainsworth, Plattsburgh, appeared at Upstate Comic Con in Massena’s St. Lawrence Centre on Saturday dressed as Avacyn from Magic: the Gathering.

The comic book show concludes Sunday and also features cosplay, video game tournaments, the Ghostbusters Ecto One and vendors.

The show continues Sunday from noon to 5 p.m.

Tickets are $15 general admission, $3 for children; a portion of the proceeds will support Massena Memorial Hospital Foundation.

The M-Men, cosplayers from Montreal, appeared at Upstate Comic Con in Massena’s St. Lawrence Centre on Saturday to raise funds for suicide prevention programs in New York State.
