MADRID – Vendors are needed for a new event, the Valley Fields Open Air Market slated for Saturday, Oct. 5 at the St. Lawrence Power and Equipment Museum, 1755 NY-345.

The event is designed to be an experience for all ages, with the opportunity to pick up a variety of fall produce, food trucks and homemade goods.

Organizers are billing the event as a supercharged farmer’s market that attracts visitors from across the county and beyond.

Growers, producers, crafters, musicians and exhibitors are invited to be a part of the inaugural event, which hopes to attract up to 1,000 people.

“As a Chamber, we seek to create events that provide large scale sales and marketing opportunities for local businesses. In our role in promoting Tourism, we hope people will travel from surrounding Counties to enjoy this fun event and leave with unique products,” said Brooke Rouse, St. Lawrence County Chamber of Commerce executive director.

“The Power and Equipment Museum is the perfect spot to embrace the St. Lawrence River Valleys rich agricultural heritage at a beautiful time of year.”

Vendor registration packets are available on www.SLCchamber.org or by contacting Jo Ann Roberts, event coordinator at 315-386-4000 or jo@SLCchamber.org.

Musicians, exhibitors, workshop hosts or entertainers are encouraged to contact Jonnie Claeys, tourism events specialist at jonnie@SLCchamber.org.
