OGDENSBURG -- Ogdensburg police are seeking the public’s help following a robbery Aug. 13 on Mechanic Street.
Officers say they responded to 829 Mechanic Street at 2:08 a.m. and found two occupants of the residence injured during an alleged robbery.
The occupants were treated and released from the Claxton-Hepburn Medical Center.
Property was stolen from the residence, but officers say “the nature of the stolen property will not be released at this time due to its impact on the investigation.”
“It is not believed that the general public is in any danger. The Police Department would appreciate any help from the public who may have been in the area of Mechanic Street at the time of the incident. Anyone with information can contact the Ogdensburg Police Department’s Detective Unit at 315-393-1551,” police said.
