Public Health said there is a lot of excitement around Phase One of reopening of a few industries including manufacturing, construction, curbside retail, and agriculture/fishing/forestry. However, the NY On Pause order continues through May 28.

This means that through phase one, it is still important to continue to stay home as much as possible, socialize with household members only and avoid nonessential gathering of any size, as these are still not allowed, said the department.

Public Health continues to advise county residents to wear a face covering and stay 6 feet away from others when venturing out for groceries, medical care, or work, as well as wash hands with soap for 20 seconds often, and clean and disinfect commonly touched surfaces regularly.
