CANTON -- The St. Lawrence County Soil and Water Conservation District is accepting orders for its annual tree seedling and shrub program now through Friday, March 1.
Quantities are limited and the agency recommends submitting your order early to have the best chance of fulfillment.
Thirty types of plants plus other supplies are available. Prices start at $1.10 and go up to $3.20 each depending on species.
Minimum order is 10 with larger numbers available.
Some prices decrease with quantity.
Proceeds of the sale benefit conservation projects in the County. Tree delivery date is expected to be April 19.
The agency is available to help you match species with your soil types and goals.
